Thyssenkrupp builds its second factory in Hungary, in Jászfényszaru. The Hungarian state foots one-third of the HUF 30 billion bill of the project. As a result of the "green-field" project, the com-pany shall manufacture steering systems and camshafts integrated with the cylinder heads also in Jászfényszaru, in addition to the R&D Competence Center in Budapest and the factory oper-ated in Győr. Two manufacturing halls will be built, one for the steering systems and another for the camshafts. Envisaged total net floor area to be completed in the first phase is approx. 31,700 m2.
