Due to the exposure of the property large volumes of rainwater poured down without drainage or treatment thus terrain correction had to be resolved as well. The other big portion of tasks was the repair of structural elements and parts of the building suffering from moisture, and the interventions to prevent further damages.

The loose, wet plaster of the main building and the outhouse had to be removed, and then replaced by cement-and-lime mortar, and the whole facade needed new painting. The joints of the visible stone surfaces had to be scratched out and rusticated again. The chimneys, gutters and outside doors and windows of the main building and the outhouse also needed repair. The foundation of the crumbling outhouse had been exposed and repaired.

The wines of Badacsony have provided the basis of exporting Hungarian wine over the Alps. German, Austrian, Styrian and West-Hungarian German wine merchants delivered wine from the surroundings of Badacsony to the West. Many writers and artists have immortalized the beautiful manorial wine presses with Baroque ornaments and the comfortable gentry abodes. The buildings with sculpture niches and terraces are adornments of Badacsony and its surroundings even today.
